Sol Activity Summary:
Snow on the Henry Mountains and the air is so soft and grey outside. The deco pinks of the Morrison Formation are subdued and it’s very chilly, snowy weather.
We are slow and tired today, happy to be indoors in our cosy hab, reading books.
Time stands still on these lovely days of rest. We enjoyed a long lunch of leftovers, plus Alex’s yummy bacon bread and since then we haven’t really done much at all.
It’s quiet. Today is the day we really relax. Some people watch movies or sleep. Alex drew his hab design. There are always reports, articles and field notes to write up.
But not me, today is a proper rest day and a day for small jobs, like for instance, gluing the sole of my boots. Later this afternoon we made udon noodles for dinner.
Early night, big day outdoors tomorrow.
