Sol Activity Summary:
Not much happening, we had a lovely day off today. It’s so nice to do not much at all. We had a delicious breakfast, blueberry pancakes cooked by Anastasiya, I washed my hair in half a bucket of water and the crew made me a great film for my birthday. (See Yusuke’s report).
We all then tried to make necklaces from fossilized shells -the gryphaea but sadly broke the drill bit. Yusuke and Claude-Michel, of course, inventively found a way around this problem adapting drill bits. This however, is a very labour intensive process so our necklaces are all a work in progress. Yoga and then fresh (frozen) vegetables for lunch chicken and kheer, my favourite Indian dessert made especially for me by Anu.
Generally, we all had a restful lovely birthday hanging about.
